How can the African-based agricultural research organizations ASARECA, CORAF, and EIAR develop fundraising autonomy to address their over-reliance on project funding and prepare them for Green Climate Fund (GCF) accreditation?

 

An assessment led by Arca and Cattail Strategy was conducted online and on-site in Entebbe, Uganda, from November 2023 to February 2024, using an innovative H3Uni multilateral co-creation methodology, document research, a fundraising audit survey, and in-person workshops to define and assess the organizations' fundraising gaps.

 

The project produced a comprehensive diagnostic report providing strategic insights and practical recommendations, serving as a roadmap for fundraising resilience and autonomy for all three partners.
